Overnight Lettuce Salad

1 head lettuce, torn
1/2 c chopped celery
1 c chopped green pepper
6-8 green onions, chopped
1 pkg frozen green peas (don't thaw)
1 c. mayo
2 T sugar
4 oz grated cheddar
8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled

layer first five ingredients in large salad bowl
spread with mayo then sprinkle with sugar
then cheese, then bacon

cover with foil, and seal

refridgerate overnight. toss well before serving
