1 lb ground beef
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 t salt
1 t pepper
1 t sugar
2 cans 8 oz tomato sauce
Brown meat-add remaining-simmer for 20-30 minutes
(mom uses her homemade spagetti sauce here-meat browned with a jar of chunky ragu is good here too-chunk marinara alone makes a vegetarian sauce)
Cook and drain 1/2 pkg of egg noodles.
Combine in another bowl
1 c. sour cream
1 c. cheddar cheese (shredded)
3 oz cream cheese (softened)
3 chopped green onions
In casserole dish (spray with Pam) spread noodles.
Cover with sour cream mixture then with meat sauce.
Bake at 350 for 30-45 min. Great alternative to lasagna.
