Ina's Shrimp Scampi with Linguine

Cook 3/4 lb linguine, drain

In heavy skillet, melt 3 T butter and 2 1/2 T GOOD olive oil
Add 4 cloves crushed fresh garlic
Cook just ONE minute.

Add 1 lb large shrimp (TRUST ME...use large, anything smaller turns to rubber fishing lures)
**about 16
Add 1 1/2 t salt
1/4 t fresh gr pepper
And saute until the shrimp just turn pink, about 5 min, stirring often.

Remove from heat and add 1/3 c. chopped fresh parsley
Juice from 2 lemons (and zest from 1/2 a lemon)
1/4 lemon sliced in half rounds
1/8 t hot red pepper flakes

Toss with pasta, serve immediately if not sooner!
