1 box brown sugar
1/8 t salt
1 T butter
3/4 c evaporated milk
1 t vanilla
2 c pecans
Mix sugar, salt, milk and butter in 2 qt saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat until sugar is melted. Add pecans and cook over medium heat to soft ball stave on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes, then add vanilla.
Stir rapidly until mixture thickens and coats pecans lightly.
